This year’s edition of AERO saw a record-breaking display of 328 aircraft from 760 exhibitors across 38 nations, attracting over 32,100 visitors from more than 80 countries. The strong presence of business aviation was particularly notable, featuring the largest line-up of business aircraft at any European trade fair this year and an extended conference schedule, held at the dedicated Dome Business Aviation Hub.

The “How AI is Transforming Business Aviation” session, moderated by Charles Alcock, Managing Editor of Aviation International News, garnered significant interest and engagement, highlighting the importance of direct application of innovative technologies within the aviation sector. The CEO of VOO Flights, Robert Plhak shared his insights on the transformative power of AI in areas such as predictive maintenance, data analysis, route optimization as well as the current technological landscape within business aviation, which strongly resonated with the audience.

The panel discussion made it clear: artificial intelligence is no longer just a futuristic concept – it’s getting serious in our industry with real-world applications already taking place.
